Polkka makes meals for schools and day-care centres in Joensuu, Kitee, Heinävesi, Ilomantsi, and Tohmajärvi as well as care homes and hospitals in North Karelia. Our largest production units are in Siilainen and Tikkamäki, which are supported by six smaller local kitchens. Our food preparation units produce 20,000 meals a day.

Polkka produces daily meals for care homes and hospitals, schools, and day-care centres in North Karelia. In addition, we deliver meals to about 1,300 private customers around North Karelia.

Our production prioritises Finnish ingredients whenever we can.

Polkka is also responsible for maintaining the milk bank by Siun sote at the North Karelia Central Hospital.
